Hoverfly Technologies (Hoverfly) and their Australian partners, Maser Defence, have successfully delivered Hoverfly Sentry Tethered Unmanned Aerial System (TeUAS) to an Australian Government customer for trial and evaluation. This significant milestone aligns with major Australian Defence Force (ADF) exercises in 2025, where the Sentry TeUAS will demonstrate its advanced capabilities in real-world operational environments.
This delivery marks Hoverfly's first venture on the Australian continent. With a long history of field-proven reliability, Sentry is ready to take its field-proven capabilities to the austere and challenging environment down-under. The trailblazing TeUAS is payload agnostic, offering persistent aerial surveillance, communication network range extension, and counter UAS (cUAS) operations, among other mission sets.
Its ability to provide continuous airborne operations with an uninterruptible power source is a game-changer for defence applications. By integrating seamlessly with existing command and control infrastructure, the Sentry enhances situational awareness, enabling more effective decision-making for leaders on the battlefield.
